This problem occurs with either of our Fire Sticks plugged into the LG TV, as well as with no Fire Sticks. The LG TV is not configured to connect to WiFi at all, it's smart TV features all stopped working over the years so I never bothered adding it to the network when we got a new one. We used to use Optimum/Altice for internet. Step 2: Reset The TV To Factory Settings. If checking the cables doesn’t solve the problem, try resetting your LG Smart TV to its factory settings. To do this, go to the settings menu and select the “General” tab. Then, select “Reset to Initial Settings” and follow the instructions on the screen. Turn off the TV: Press the Power button on your LG TV’s remote or on the TV itself to turn it off. Unplug the TV: Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet or power strip. Wait for at least 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in. Plug in the TV: Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet or power strip. Navigate to “Settings”, then move to “System Settings”. Launch “Application Manager”, which displays all your apps. Select the App you need cleared (Peacock). Simply Select “Clear Cache” and wait until completion. Use this method if you’ve noticed only Peacock is gone from your LG TV app store.
I know this post is old, but I noticed some fairly recent posts where people are having the same issue. LG did a shoddy job with the WI-FI module inside the TV, resulting in the ribbon cables getting crimped. There's a fairly easy solution for probably most of the people on here, although I'm sure it's a different problem for some.
