I want to know the best ffb setting for realistic driving, like driving in real life with a real steering wheel. I play on freeroam maps, like la canyon, srp, etc, so i wanna know what ffb settings feel the most realistic or like the same as driving irl. My wheel is thrustmaster t150.
Realistic FFB setup I am still quite new with using a wheel and as I have no driving experience in real life (except for some karting) I have no real comparison about what is a realistic setup. I currently have a really heavy setup (feels like karting) , but omg I actually have aching muscles and hands after a few hours driving.
Moving down to the Force Feedback Configuration screen, the first thing to do is enable the system by checking the relevant box. Depending on the wheel model, some players may need to also check the Inverted box. However, the Thrustmaster T300RS used to create this guide seems to provide correct FFB from the get-go in BeamNG.
As the FFB can only turn the steering wheel, one would only feel forces applying steering torque to the wheels and front tire slip without them. Which paradoxically would make Sims less realistic to drive. That isn't always true though. With some cars you can feel the road surface through the steering wheel.
If you’re using a Logitech G29 or G920 steering wheel, these settings will probably give you the most realistic and immersive driving experience possible in Nascar Heat 5. Having the proper FFB settings will make a huge difference to your lap time performance, especially giving you more precision and consistency.
