I’ve never really understood why people despise The Division Bell so much. I know that the remnants of Pink Floyd attempted to get back to their popular, early to mid 70s sound, and although it doesn’t remind too much of albums like DSoTM and WYWH, on it’s own, it’s a fantastic album imo.

I my opinion, I like ranking albums as a whole album but also individual songs and the replay ability. Albums like Animals, Atom Heart Mother, or WYWH have such long songs and even if they’re masterpieces, I’m not cranking out 10-20 minute songs for fun even if they’re good.
