Mevarek • 4 yr. ago. If you’re playing an archer, bard is definitely better. The duelist abilities don’t do much for archer rogues because most of them require a melee weapon. Bard’s songs of courage/valor, on the other hand, are extremely useful for either type of rogue. I think bard is better in general for melee as well since you
