what is lame is the AI, it should be more aware of the player useing the bow and try to break line of sight if it doesnt have a bow itself, instead of runing straight to the player to get shot. there is one bow perk, and that is in the druken tree. when you are drunk the sway is 25% less but 25% more when sober.
