⛸️ Canon 1Dx Mark Iii Review

You are in a very nice position deciding between two of the best from Canon, and you have a 7D Mark II. More on that later. Years ago I was shooting a with a pair of 7D's. Love having two of the same bodies eliminating the need of swapping lenses back and forth. Two years ago, St. Nick was kind enough to deliver a 5D Mark III under the tree. I used to be able to see a clear difference between the other cameras and the 1DX III in terms of price. The R5 and even the R6 changed that. R5 is rated at 500,000 actuations just like the 1DX, both are magnesium internal with composite external, and I prefer a removable grip. - Animal eye autofocus.

Tell your bud he/she was right, but the R3 does challenge/poised to defeat the 1DX Mark III in almost every regard, except battery life. Otherwise it has better 4K, more MP counts, better pixels, better AF, IBIS, RF mount access. . Make no mistake, the 1DX Mark III has it's place still.
