I don’t think a lot of buttons suddenly makes a class complex for pve. I think it’s more how you understand the class. Axe mirage is arguably considered the most difficult class to play in this game for pve The rocket turret fires straight up into the air when overcharged making it useless in any place that has a ceiling. Turrets spawned underwater, from supply drops, after overcharging, and with certain traits active use different patch versions. The rifle turret's overcharge doesn't actually work. Overcharging a turret removes trait effects. 3) Guardian. 4) Elementalist. 5) Necromancer. 6) Thief. 7) Engineer. 8) Mesmer. People like simple, especially those who have never played GW before. I don't see any new people jumping into the game with a complicated class like the engineer, or at least sticking with it a few hours in.
