This is going to be a bit long winded , my Kia Rio wont start, it started been intimately but now wont start ar all unless I bump it, then start it every hour and it starts, leave it up to 3 hours and I have to bump it off again. bought a new batter and plug. When the ignition switch is turned The engine won't even crank - I can hear the start motor trying to do its thing but then everything dims followed by a loud repetitive relay clicking sound - the dashboard flickers on and off while doing this. The immobiliser light has gone off as has the diesel glow coil light so I don't think it's an issue with either of those. 2015 Sorento SX --. We have been having intermittent problems starting our Sorento with push button start. It has been going on for several months. Description of what happens: 1) Car in park, depress brake pedal, push button to start. 2) Everything in the car starts up EXCEPT the engine. Ceed cold starting problem. My 2011 CRDi 1.6 takes alot of cranking to get it started first thing in the morning,the pre heater goes out within a few seconds but it may take up to 15-20 seconds to start,once it's running it will start fine,any ideas please,iv'e not had it more then a couple of weeks and it's only done 26k,Thanks. sIFCaYM. 966624140389428313108562
